Party till you drop!

Last week was the long awaited Christensen reunion. This is my mom's side of the family and we always have so much fun. Mom has 8 siblings so the family is pretty big. Of course not everyone could be there but there was about 150 people there. The first day we just met for dinner at my Uncle Larry's house. Here is a picture of the view from his house.
Picture lots of good food and kids EVERYWHERE!
The girls had a princess party
And the next picture is all the redheads in the family

Day 2 was spent at what was called the "river ranch" My uncle is renting some farmland and this house is on the property. It had been abandonded for a long period of time but now his son lives there. The house is in poor shape but the grounds made a great place for our big family. Heated pool from hot springs, hot tub, plenty of room for volleyball, Moon Swings (see picture below) jump house and lots of chairs and blankets for visiting. We stayed there all day. sun up-to sun-down the pool and the Moon Swings never were empty.

Uncle Armond and his shaved ice machine. When the machine was out there was always a long line. Above you can see the Moon Swings contraption. (motorized swings--very fun)

Day 3 was spent at the lake. We had 3 boats going with skiing, wakeboarding, tubing and whatever else you can think of to do with a boat. There was also volleyball and good food and lots of visiting going on. Spencer even was brave enough to try wakeboarding. He was pretty scared but he did awesome!

Wow what a great time to visit with such great people and have so much fun together. We got home late each night and we were all exhausted but it was great! Thanks to Aunt Sharon who planned it all and made it happen. See you in 2 years!

We had a great time at the reunion. I asked Ryan what his favorite thing was. He couldn't decide until I mentioned the shaved ice. He decided that was his favorite thing. It was fun to see everyone.
