Moving, Part I

Here it is. Moving day for the Tophams. Isn't it so comforting to see all your belongings hanging out in your yard to be eventually crammed into a truck. CRAZY. But seriously, Kyle and I are still so overwhelmed and greatful to all those who helped us. Our stuff was loaded in just over an hour and with the help of the Bishop and Bro. Ahlstrom and a few others all the stuff was intricately packed so we stayed within our limit of truck space with about an inch to spare

I know you wish you all could do this real soon (NOT) I hope this is the last time for a very long time.

Loading up the truck and Spencer helping out

Our last picture in front of our house the morning we left. My parents are in there too. In the car, ready to go

My Aunt and Uncle were SOOOOO nice to let us stay with them for 5 (yes, five) days while we waited and waited for the ok to move in. They even took us fishing. Trevor is the only member of our family who caught something.

First day of school--from a hotel room. Can you see the joy and excitement in their faces? They were actually real troopers as they started a new school not knowing one soul. At least they had each other! Notice Taylor is missing. He had a terrible stomach bug and didn't start till 2 days later. I didn't ever get his picture (I'm sure he is glad of that)

We decided not to take our dining table with us from SJ. So for now we are using a lovely plastic fold--up table.
In the front room. Me and Brenna. Not much furniture in there yet.

stuff in the new house. Gotta love all the left over boxes. But, you know what? Where we live as long as your trash is bagged or in a can (any can you want-not just one they supply you) they will take it ALL. Wow, what a concept--no limit. We have been taking advantage of that.
So, there's our first installment. More later....(sooner than later I hope)

Glad you guys have survived the move. It is something I don't think anyone ever enjoys. No matter what it is an adventure. Kevin has relatives in Meridian and Boise, so we will have to stop by and say hello when we are up visiting. Good luck with settling in and hopefully the kids are looking a little more excited about going off to school.

I personally could live without that experience.

It so good to hear from you guys and see that you're beginning to get settled. We sure miss you.

Sounds like you guys are having a great time in ID. We are excited to see you in October and that we get to see you a little more often (hopefully) than we have in the past.
